My fianc e and my dog.
I work as a Postdoc at Kiel University (CAU) in the north of Germany. Previously, I was also working at Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH) before I received my Ph.D. in computer science from Kiel University. My Ph.D. advisor was Klaus Jansen.
In the following you can find a few impressions about me.

Violin
I started to play the violin when I was five years old. Computer scientists simply cannot resist strings.
Running
In 2013 and 2024 I have run a half marathon at the [Kiel.Lauf](https://www.kiellauf.de/) and I am up to run my first full marathon next year.
I enjoy long runs as very rewarding challenges.
Fishing
The best time to go fishing is when you can get away.
